MobileWeb develops De Standaard iPhone app
De Standaard has launched its own mobile application for the iPhone. This app was developed by MobileWeb.be, who was previously also responsible for the creation of the successful mobile site m.standaard.be.
The app of De Standaard, now available in the Apple App Store, is the first paying iPhone news application in the Benelux. After only 1 day, the app already ranked first of the paying apps in the App Store. Read full press release.


DataNews chooses MobileWeb for mobile site
m.datanews.be, the recently launched mobile site of DataNews, was entirely developed by MobileWeb.be. The site is optimized for iPhone, Blackberry and other smartphones. With the addition of Datanews' mobile site, MobileWeb further grows its portfolio of mobile media, which also includes the mobile sites of De Standaard, Het Nieuwsblad, Jobat, VDAB, Nikon and Stad Gent. End of Year Freeze period
The mobile operators will observe a Freeze period between 15 December 2009 and 15 January 2010. During this period requests for SMS shortcode activation, modification or reservation will not be handled. If a shortcode has to be activated before the end of 2009, the request must be done by 25 November at the latest.
