 To

address exists, otherwise the mail could be considered
as spam and rejected.

: still not attributed
 At
present, there are certain popular .eu domain names, such
as sex.eu and business.eu, that are still not attributed
to an owner.
First, Eurid has mandated Price Waterhouse Coopers for the
validation of the requests, based on specific criteria
(eg. valid Trademark, does the applicant have a link with
the trademark, the format of the demand, the credibility
of the prove). If the request was accepted, the domain
name was attributed to the applicant on a
« first come, first served » basis.

millionaire
 On
the 12th of January 2008, the AFNIC has reached the figure
of one million .fr domain names.
In 2004 there were only 150 000 fr domain names. One year
later, after the first phase of the liberalization,
the number already doubled to 300.000.
The opening of the .fr to individuals in June 2006 seriously
accelerated the registration of domains with this
extension.
