MobileWeb in France with
Lille Plus games
MobileWeb.be is also active on the French market. Lille
Plus, a French free newspaper has fully outsourced
their weekly competitions to MobileWeb.be. On Mother's
Day for example, readers could win a set of beauty products
by participating in a SMS
Game. You can find some nice examples on
our blog.
M-Government: Cities communicate
by SMS
Several Belgian cities have realized the advantages
of communicating with their citizens by SMS. Cities
like Lanaken, Hechtel, Welkenraedt, Puurs, Riemst, Landen,...
already have SMS campaigns running with MobileWeb.be. This
allows them to inform citizens when their passport is ready,
to send a SMS reminder on the day of the garbage collection,
to send out the cultural agenda,... The possibilities are
endless!
Shortcode migration finalized
The deadline for all changes in the new
shortcode numberplan was June 1st. All impacted shortcodes
have now been migrated. MobileWeb.be has tried to limit
as much as possible the impact on their clients. However,
if you experience any problems with your new shortcode,
don't hesitate to contact
our Customer Service.
